DAGESTAN IN NEED: A FEDERAL EMERGENCY—WE NEED YOUR HELP

The Polylog Foundation is organizing aid for flood victims in Dagestan

A federal-level state of emergency has been declared in the Republic of Dagestan due to widespread flooding. According to the latest reports, 1,339 residential buildings and 90 sections of road have been flooded. The total number of people affected has exceeded 6,000.

The Polylog Foundation has quickly organized the collection of humanitarian aid for the republic’s residents. Thanks to the support of caring individuals, two trucks (15 tons of cargo) have already been loaded and prepared for shipment, containing clothing, medicines, food, and essential supplies.

On April 10, 2026, the first truck will depart for Makhachkala, and the second for Derbent. In Makhachkala, the humanitarian cargo will be received by Rodion Ismailov, Deputy Head of the “Polylog” Foundation for Cinematography and Media Communications and film director, and Ali Magherramov, Chief Assistant to the Head of the Foundation.

The Foundation pays special attention to the families of military personnel, police officers, and all those who are currently defending Russia’s sovereignty and borders. “We have no right to feel ashamed. Our defenders and their families must know that, in addition to the state, they have reliable allies,” emphasized Ramil Kerimov, Head of the Polylog Foundation.

On April 22, 2026, the Eldar cinema will host free film screenings dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. A charity drive will be held as part of the events: all collected items and funds will be donated to those affected in Dagestan.
