THE «POLYLOG» FOUNDATION INVITES YOU TO A SCREENING OF THE FILM «THE TRIAL OF AUL»

The Polylog Foundation invites you to a screening of the film "The Trial of the Aul"

On April 22, 2026, the Eldar Cinema (105 Leninsky Prospekt) will host a special screening of the feature film "The Trial of the Aul", supported by the Polylog Foundation.

The screening is timed to coincide with the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, proclaimed by Decree of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin in 2026.

“The Village Trial” is a vibrant and very funny comedy that is also a true ode to family values and a return to one’s roots. At the center of the plot is Timur, a spoiled city blogger accustomed to gadgets and life in the capital. Following an argument with his father, he finds himself in a remote village with his strict grandfather, without internet or cell service. The film won over audiences with its witty contrast: viewers laugh at the adventures of a “social media star” trying to milk a cow and survive without Wi-Fi, but between the lines, the film teaches the most important lesson—respect for elders, hard work, and simple human warmth, which no number of likes can replace.

Director: Islam Satyrov—winner of the Special Jury Prize at the “Unfiltered Cinema” festival and the Grand Prix of the documentary film competition at the “Caravan” festival.

Executive Producer: Magomet-Ali Naimanov — founder of the film company “Dombayfilm,” director of the “Kinostart” film school, and chairman of the Karachay-Cherkess Regional Public Organization “Union of Cinematographers.”
