The Polylog Foundation Shares Exclusive Footage from the Premiere of the Film “Oil” During the Year of National Unity
As part of the Year of National Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the Polylog Foundation continues its series of cultural events and shares exclusive footage from the world premiere of the feature film “Oil.”
On April 22, 2026, the Eldar cinema in Moscow hosted a gala screening of the film dedicated to Gadzhi Zeynalabdin Tagiev, an outstanding patron of the Russian Empire and a pioneer of the oil industry. The film, created to mark the 100th anniversary of his death, was presented to a wide audience in Russian for the first time.
The premiere was attended by the film’s creators and actors, including producer Orman Aliyev, director Zaur Gasimli, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Parviz Mammadrzayev, and others.
Such projects help strengthen and preserve the shared history and friendship between the peoples of Russia and Azerbaijan.
